While reading fetlife....

(sarcasm ) I just love how one local kink organization calls out for public opinions to help improve the organization, then treats their members like shit, in a public forum, for pointing out communication issues and problems with the kink organization (/sarcasm)

As one member commented "politics is not my kink".  I would love to say more on the subject but every time I point out something erroneous and unjust the next thing I know my blogs are being reviewed for adult content, my niteflirt listings all the sudden are taken down for questionable content in my advertising, my twitter account gets hacked and my instagram photos are reported for nudity.  Free speech isn't really free, you suffer the consequences for pointing out what is wrong and who is doing it, although historically, with enough power and grief, things change IF enough people are motivated to make it happen.

I have figured out long ago that the community is only as good as the members involved. During my tenure as a public "leader" of my kink community it has always been my philosophy to provide unbiased leadership, equifinality and equality, values that are obviously not shared by everyone much less those on the "board".  This is an issue that has long plagued this organization because each board member seem to focus on their own agenda and have little to no skills dealing with the public.  Today too many egos and too much high school mentality has kept me far away from organizations that foster this leadership style - politics is just not my kink.
