An amazingly busy week!!!

The weather has been just gorgeous lately and I've been taking full advantage of it.  I have started a daily routine of walking an hour or more each day.  My walking route is along the beautifully scenic SpringWater Corridor and there have been many opportunities to photograph the interesting sights I see during my walks. I saw this cute graffiti flowers spray painted on the walkway so I took a shot to share.

Sometimes after my walks I'll stop at Cartlandia which has to be the best place to get food-cart food here in Portland.  This place is called Taco's De'Paella (sp?) and has the best (and only) breakfast burritos.  The owner is very friendly and will custom cook your order.  Much, much love for this place.

Then a few days later my partner and another friend went to a restaurant called the Oyster Bar.  I have never eaten raw oysters before but I decided to give it a go and I wasn't disappointed.  Their champagne was delicious as well.

On Wednesday mornings I volunteer my time at the local homeless day shelter in their computer lab.  It's just a little 3 hour gig but I love every minute of it.  It is so wonderful to help those in need and it always makes me happy to hear their successes in finding a job and/or a place to live.  Afterwards I go to lunch downtown and last Wednesday I had lunch at my favorite sushi restaurant Sushi Ichiban - I highly recommend them!

Finally the weekend arrive along with PRIDE celebrations!  The weekend was amazing with the festival at the waterfront all weekend, the LGBTQ picnic on Saturday and the Pride Parade Sunday morning.  I was able to take one shot (this one) but didn't take another all Pride weekend (boo hoo).  I have been photographing Pride for years but this year I thought I would take a break.

This week promises to be just as busy as last weekend with my volunteer shift at the day center in the morning and Wicked Wednesdays at the Sindicate starting at 6pm that evening.  I hope to see some if not most of you there.  As usual this promises to be an exciting evening :)

I may or may not be available on Niteflirt this week but feel free to send a message if you are interested in distance training.

Ciao for now!!
